When I was a kid, we had a VHS copy of Big Trouble that had been taped over, leaving only the final 5 minutes or so. I watched it obsessively, dozens of times, until some douche copied over those 5 minutes and I thought it was lost forever, nothing but a vague, nostalgic childhood memory. Years later, when internet downloads were just starting, someone gave me a CD of Big Trouble. It lay on my desk for weeks, because the only Carpenter movies I'd watched until then had been Ghosts of Mars and I was expecting trash. Then I finally watched it...

I like to click on the progress bar at :31 and just replay the catch and throw with that amazing whiplash soundeffect over and over and over again. It's so satisfying.

And yes, Lo Pan throws like a limp-wristed little girl. He just regained his flesh, true, but if he can hold a grown woman hostage, he can throw a knife like an adult.
