Why would someone take financial advice from this man?

Sucks for that dude. Go with your gut... the stock market is all gambling anyway, so if you think you holding a shitty hand, fold em. Cramer is an entertainer. Why would anyone actually follow his advice is beyond me.

A couple of the youtube comments are calling BS on this. It sounds like Baldo's talking here about keeping money in a Bear ACCOUNT, not keeping it invested in the company's stock. In which case Goatee would have guessed right: even though the stock went caput, everyone using Bear as a broker were fine.
