I remember watching this on one of the Family Channnel's incarnations and while they censored the swearing nearly every episode of nigger was left in.
Oh yeah, and they dubbed out all the farts at the campfire scene. Farting? NO WAY JOSE? Gratuitous use of the word Nigger? FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
A sensitive movie that handles the issue of race delicately and with grace. And a lot of farting.
Still one of my favorite movies. Especially considering that the whole point of the movie was a tongue-in-cheek anti-racism commentary. Also, Mongo.

4 stars because it's a zinger of a short and sweet, but this movie has a lot better ones. Blame Youtube for that. "Blazing Saddles" contains about 20 minutes straight of meme-worthy lines. "Where all de white women at?"
I had such a crush on Cleavon Little when I was younger because of the first time you see him dressed as the sheriff. Hottt.
