One night when there was nothing else on TV I watched this, they showed all of it on MTV. I now know why I don't watch MTV. It was like a trainwreck with dancing and singing and really really neat sets. I know that I'm a theater tech geek but I was really impressed with the way the sets moved about the stage. It's amazing to someone who has only worked with flying sets to see bits of wall move about on a track the way they do.
Maybe it was just the fact that I'd been watching it for about an hour and a half or so by the time the song came along, but I remember thinking that the "Gay or European" song was actually kind of funny.
Ok, so I managed to watch all of the vid of the guy squeezing pus out of his chest (gagging no less), but there was something about this that I just couldn't stomach. 4 stars for its sheer terror.
So, if an evil theater producer held a gun to your head and forced you to sit through either this or the Lord Of The Rings musical -- http://www.poetv.com/video.php?vid=20512 -- which would you choose?
Since I submitted the LOTR musical clips, I'll go with those. It's geeky and stupid and horrible as opposed to shallow and brainless and stupid and horrible.
Now picture hearing "Oh My god, Oh my God you guys!" repeated over and over again without the rest of the song mind you. Believe me it has happened to me in real life and I could not stand it. Yeah its a long story.
