Canada, huh? This definitely had some kind of aesthetic you can't get from an American movie. It reminded me of a lot of Australian grindhouse movies.
I can't remember where I first saw this, but after most of my friends used "Hey, towtruck!!" as a greeting for awhile. We were big FLA and Puppy fans, so I guess it was just high school level geekdom.
