Two cats in a fighter jet don't really make a squadron.
They would wear shoes while in their civilian guise, but not while piloting their jet. And nobody ever pointed this out to them. This show was unrealistic.
This show was awesome, the horrible cartoon tag isn't for this show.
This was one of the only shows I could see as a kid where acid digested skeletons would be piled upon each other in the backgrounds.
Please leave my sacred cow childhood shows free of the Horrible Cartoon Week tag. Thank you.

This was not an awesome show. The "horrible cartoons week" tag fits perfectly. Sweet merciful Jesus, the best of these was still a weak second to the worst episode of Megas.
I liked the episodes with the Pastmaster because they always ended with him yelling "Noooooo!" in the funniest way.
Appropriately, the nerdy one was voiced by Donatello, the ninja turtle.
That's some star pulling power, Getting a ninja turtle to voice a Hanna Barbera cartoon! did they pay him, in pizza?
"Quick, we need some villains for our jet pilot heroes to fight" "ummm.....wizard and werewolf?"
