All I remember from this show is the opening, but I remember loving it so much.

The chick in the show was pretty hot, too.

all the men wear badass armour, the chick just wears a skin-tight pink thing.

And.. he just rides across the sky on a steel horse and cuts people with a saber? How do I get that job?

Look! They only put THE BEST episodes on DVD. That means they cut out the one where Saber Rider jumps over the shark while visiting California!

Holy shit. I remember this show - it was one of my favorites when I was a kid. I watched so many bad/awesome cartoons when I was growing up.

The blue cowboy star sheriff with hat-helmet confused me as a child.

Again, another goofy show from my childhood that I think is still pretty alright. Even if they did the whole "the alien invaders don't die! They just go back to their home dimension!" thing.

Apparently in the original version the fellow with the cowboy hat was the American member of the team. I'm suprised they didn't have Saber Rider (who was originally British) sporting a bowler hat and bumbershoot, or the obligatory female (who was originally French) go about with a horizontally red-striped shirt and beret.

God I loved this show when I was a wee tot. It was hardly ever on, so I never understood the metaplot, but I didn't care.
