4:40 YAYYYYYYY!

FABIO2 - 2008-05-17

Somewhat informative, but annoying Yahtzee wannabe presentation.

baleen - 2008-05-18

I guess it's similar in the sense that it's two-dimensional and appears on a screen. And it uses images with words.

FABIO2 - 2008-05-18

"B-b-b-b-but one does video games and this one doesn't!" *snot bubble*

fluffy - 2008-05-19

You realize this style predates Yahtzee by years, right?

RandomFerret - 2008-05-17

How did I never notice the Kimba connection?

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-05-17

Hearing about misfortune falling upon the head of someone like Eisner makes me happy.

anvill - 2008-05-17

Eisner's severance package guaranteed him .6 million a year for four years. Misfortune-o-rama.

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-05-18

No amount of money is going to completely wash away the sting of having a group of people get together and, in a professional and official way, tell you that they hate you and that you're terrible at your job.

FABIO2 - 2008-05-18

For .6 million a year I would go through that humiliation daily. The boards could even use tomatoes.

MissLadyArtemis - 2012-08-19

Agreed, Fabio2

Repomancer - 2008-05-17

Less blank screen time would be nice. Better narration, too. Some pretty good info, but the twenty years from 1984-2004 are given less time than 2005 to date.

Cap'n Profan!ty - 2008-05-17

what? i do not think you saw the same feature that i saw

Menudo con queso - 2008-05-17

I don't quite get it: why does this mean we can't have nice things?

zatojones - 2008-05-18

Yeah. The end result was a company that makes animated features like Ratatouille. That's a good thing as far as I can tell.

StanleyPain - 2008-05-18

and movies like Beverly Hills Chihuahua.

Frank Rizzo - 2008-05-17

funny, but why the title?

Menudo con queso - 2008-05-18

Hey, we asked a question over here, somebody answer us.

fluffy - 2008-05-19

I don't know, I was just submitting it under the same name the creator used. I'd have just called it "Disney history 1984-2008" otherwise.

chumbucket - 2008-05-17

4 for Ted Turner's intro slide alone...not 5 due to all the blanks and pointless repeats..oh, and not much color.

DMKA - 2008-05-17

I would give this five stars, but tired weeaboo Kimba reference = -2 star, lack of mention of successes after Lion King -1 star, and complete lack of mention of the fact that Disney has reopened it's 2D animation department (The Princess and the Frog, scheduled for next year, will be a 2D musical, and written/directed by the same two guys as The Little Mermaid and Aladdin) = -1 star.

Sudan no1 - 2008-05-18

I dunno about you, but I'm pumped for FOUR TINKERBELL MOVIES

also, you don't have to be a weeaboo to see the similarities between Kimba and Simba, seriously:

StanleyPain - 2008-05-18

The Kimba/Lion King thing is obvious to anyone who knows what either are. If you want weeaboo bullshit of the highest order, try the whole Nadia/Atlantis thing.

Dinkin Flicka - 2008-05-18

Dreamworks Animation seriously sucks, and now I know why - retard from retard camp A moved over to retard camp B.

fluffy - 2008-05-22

Dreamworks animation makes me feel sick to my stomach. They somehow manage to bring non-human characters into the uncanny valley. That takes some sort of skill.
