It can be a ugly, ugly business. Hard for people to see this side of it when they are getting off to the glamorized final product. A friend I once had said they viewed porn as nothing more then sexual art work. While I am not sure I would go call it this, I would say that while I see nothing wrong with pornography itself I alway have to wonder how broken the people doing the preforming are. Makes it lose its whole appeal for me personally.
I actually believe that this is a career move on her part and she is completely lying to them. But whatever. I can assure you this made her a shitload of money... but oh no whore with the heart of gold! Works every time.
She did repudiate the interview. I have no trouble believing that porn stars are emotionally fragile and do things they aren't entirely comfortable with to impress an audience, but would you trust TV news not to sensationalize the subject? Five years later she is operating her own production company and has won about a dozen industry awards.
While i don't doubt that some adult performers have issues and lived tough lifes there's a big preachy editorial over this. Trying to make everyone in the adult industry look the same.
