Being so naive, I didn't realize that jet pilots playing volley ball, slapping butts, posing awkwardly in jeans, and sporting terminal sunburns, was gay. Now I am enlightened and think that anything remotely connected with Tom Cruise is gay.

All these years I've never, ever watched this movie, but my uncle was like, the biggest fan ever of it. He was also possibly one of the biggest homophobes I've ever met.
Watching this for the first time, I'm beginning to go with that whole idea of "internalized homophobia".
Oh yeah, -4 stars for somewhat sane Tom Cruise.
