At the risk of going against you all, i didn't see it as creepy at all.
All i saw was the excitement of his/her mask. Just listen to the excited grunts and excited quick hand movements after he turns around with the mask. The only sad part is that she has such a cheap ass mask. Square eyes? a scarf to hide the crappy neck?
