This is really part of the movie? Or is it part of the viral marketing campaign that I'm sure will descend upon us like a plague of locusts within the next six months?
Because if this is part of the movie, we need more of that "try harder" thing.
It's not from the movie. It's part of the advertising contest where people can create fake ads for products within the movie from Veidt Industries. Winners will appear in the film in the background and such on TV screens and things like that.
The raw elements to make some of the commercials are on YouTube. Most of the ones I've seen completely suck balls. This one is marginally better.
