On one hand they are nice absurd animals. On the other they are the physical manifestation of one of the seven deadly sins!

+4 for cute. -1 for the fact that adding glowing red eyes would be the only difference between adorable and waking up in the middle of the night to look to the end of your bed and see its head slowly rising from underneath as it locks its eyes on it's next victim. Then you notice the walls and ceiling are covered in them.

Sloth babies are easily most huggable mammals on earth. On an emotional level obviously, I don't know how deep in tender human flesh those claws could dig in close contact.
