Didn't see the whole thing, but come on... this doesn't have to be Star Wars to merit being called entertainment. That video about the computer formula that demonstrated how evolution easily takes the cake for the shittiest anti-Christ video, and just on the basis of that video's existence, I have to give this a full 5.
The intro is really hard to get through. The whole smug "people who disagree with me are uneducated idiots, whereas everyone who agrees with me is SMART AS FUCK" attitude is annoying as hell. Creationists do the same thing and when either side does it, all they end up doing is destroying any chance of their message reaching anyone but the choir. Especially when you're calling the people you're trying to reach "sheep."
Having said that, the rest is fucking great and does a fine job of logically demolishing the creationist argument.
Every now ad then, I admit to becoming incoherently frustrated with the general hard-headedness and stupidity of the world and calling Christians, conservatives, and people who believe in the theory of abiotic oil "stupid fucks".
I do agree with you though.
But seriously, don't think there needs to be a line SOMEWHERE? I mean, do we really need to be so coddling and respective of such moronic ideas? It's not that I'm a fan of being "in yer face" about it like this, but at the same time, is ridiculing these beliefs really that bad?
Why ridicule the ideas when they practically do the job for Not Stupid Fucks on their own lack of merit?
"I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use.” - Galileo Galilei
Stanley: It's not that bad, hell, I do it all the time. But when your video is expressly aimed at a certain group of people, it's probably not a good idea to kick things off by insulting them.
