I would see it, but I don't want to ruin the book. They cut out too many great chapters to make the movie short enough to be marketable.

Ha ha, I recognize those characters! So this must be comedy genius!

I know it's like pointing out a single kernel of corn in a giant turd, but that "Ironman getting flattened" bit is the worst use of CG I've ever seen in a long while.

I don't know what to rate it. But I admit I am fascinated by the cosmic joke going on with these movies. They are spoofs of popular movies and popular culture. These spoofs are done in a way so as to imply that these aspects of culture are stupid or, at least, that the celebrities they make fun of are idiots and people who like them are idiots. Yet, they make so many of these spoofs, the spoofs themselves are pop culture now and are just as shallow, if not worse, than the shallow pop culture they're trying to make fun of.

Kind of maddening logic really.

I wish many many anal tumors upon the people responsible for these movies.

I didn't think that any of these movies were disaster movies...

at least not in the traditional sense.

5 stars for making me angry beyond belief that these movies keep getting made.

Five stars for making me rage.

I don't know why anyone complains about these flicks. There's ALWAYS a shitty comedy series or two being churned out. Police Academy, Naked Gun, Airplane, Scary Movie, The National Lampoon's Vacation movies, and when one runs out of steam there's always another to take it's place with the same tired, predictable jokes. These movies are neither better nor worse than their predecessors.
