Needs a big fat spoiler tag in the description!

AgentOrange - 2008-07-08

I guess finale should tip people off, but nothing grabs the attention quite like *SPOILER*

thebaronsdoctor - 2008-07-08

Is that more to your liking my man?

AgentOrange - 2008-07-09

Delightful, thank you.

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2008-07-08

Blue.

Xenocide - 2008-07-08

You're gonna carry that weight.

Keefu - 2008-07-08

He's just tired, is all.

Sudan no1 - 2008-07-08

Dyke Spies

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-07-08

Tomo Dies.

BHWW - 2008-07-08

Quite a finish, really. While the series has been perhaps wildly overhyped by some of it's more annoying fans I can't deny the effect it had. One of those anime series where all of the talent involved really comes together for something great.

FABIO2 - 2008-07-08

Wait, I thought the finale was a church battle where he kills Vicious with a grenade then gets blown out a window?

Keefu - 2008-07-09

That's from an earlier episode. Both Spike and Vicious survive that encounter.

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2008-07-11

FABIO2, you should watch this series all the way on the YouTube.

It's worth caring about. An old friend who cares less than a shit about Japanimation said, "This stuff reminds me of a non-live-action Firefly." Take that for what it's worth.

Monchiles Monchiles - 2008-07-08

Can't watch Cowboy Bebop without remembering that horrible Saxophone episode that almost put me off the whole thing forever.

thebaronsdoctor - 2008-07-08

The boob-man two-parter? That was a pretty damn good episode. The worst one was the one with the twelve year old kid who was really like, three hundred and the cast conviently had a mind-reading machine lying around.

Monchiles Monchiles - 2008-07-09

Yeah! That's the one I'm talking about. Sorry I couldn't describe it very well; I've done my best to block it from my memory.

MerryMisanthrope - 2008-07-08

One of the two good anime series in existence.

Also, one of the few things I ever watched that I didn't already know the ending to. Harsh.

kingarthur - 2008-07-08

He's gonna get up right? I mean, he's gotta get up!

Also, poor Faye and Jet.

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2008-07-08

And all the while, Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV walks along, feet on Earth, faithful Ein by her side; catlike, she joins and leaves the Bebop on her own whim.

Cowboy Bebop: Anime for people who hate Japanimation.

BornAgainCannibal - 2008-07-08

First ending to an anime that I enjoyed and appreciated.

Flux - 2008-07-09

the best scene in the whole series is the one immediately before this where spike and jet have a little talk

asian hick - 2008-07-09

Yes.

This show was great. Style, mood, music and characters came together just right. I'm glad they've never done anything to fuck with it after it ended.

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2008-07-11

asian hick: Cowboy Bebop: The Movie was something they did with it after it ended, and that was pretty tight.

Nikon - 2011-07-31

I watched this with a (dumb) friend, and he asked me why Spike wasn't in any spinoff shows.

Nikon - 2011-08-03

One thing I liked about this is when he saw the old Native American seer at the start of the show, no one laughed at the old man's predictions. And all of them came true in this last part of the story.
