5 just for his continued mangling of the word "monopoly" into all sorts of variant forms.

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-07-15

Business theory as conceived by a bratty child.

Xenocide - 2008-07-15

DID YOU HEAR THAT? THEY ARE TRYING TO PERSUADE PEOPLE TO BUY GAMES FROM THEIR STORE.

ALERT CONGRESS.

BHWW - 2008-07-15

I worked at a videogame store some years back and every so often we'd get some pissy nerd who'd get upset about something and throw out the old "man the companies are only in it for the money man!" chestnut. Yes, video game companies and stores are only in it for the money. What a shock.

Some guy who looked just a small bit like this kid came in with his crappy old scuffed up game discs and thought the "WE TRADE GAMES" sign meant he could trade them in for brand new games without paying anything. His response when I informed him this wasn't the case was to start screaming at all of us behind the counter that "YOU CAN ALL FUCK OFF, YOU'RE ALL JUST TRYING TO MAKE MONEY OFF OF ME AND THAT'S UNFAIR! THESE ARE UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES!" He must have been at most nineteen, twenty but he was screaming like an angry little kid with his face turning red.

StanleyPain - 2008-07-15

Monopolioisticnessish

futurebot - 2008-07-15

There is a lot of bullshit that this man does not want us to give

Cleaner82 - 2008-07-16

Come on, just a little?!

futurebot - 2008-07-15

Also, EXHIBIT F, THE PEOPLE VS. GAMESTOP, INC.

F. Gamestop leverages their monopoly of the software and media retail industry ("monopolition") towards the imposition of capricious and inhumane regulatory actions upon their tournaments, EG the exclusive restriction of input devices in their "Super Smash Bros." tournament to the "Wii Remote" with the "Nunchuck" accessory, leaving consumers with no viable alternative, which is BULLSHIT.

buttnutt - 2008-07-15

It's all monopol.

Unsung - 2008-07-15

From Youtube:

"If you bought so many games that didn't work from GameStop, why would you continue to go there?

Maybe you actually do enjoy bending over for GS....bitch."

Author`s response:

"no where else to go :("

It`s against the law to buy games on the internet. Or maybe his mom doesnt want to waste gas driving out of her shopping range.

CharlesSmith - 2008-07-15

-1 star for not getting to see the kids face.

heyitslozeau - 2008-07-15

not to mention the first 20 seconds or so is pure irony.

Gamers have rights, to good quality service. If they're a monopoly, and they're all monopoly, then I deserve the best service I can get.

MaulLove - 2008-07-15

I love Gamestop, because occasionally I buy clearance games at Target for dirt cheap (or sometimes for free with coupons.) I then open them, play them if they don't suck, then trade them in to Gamestop. It's awesome, I get 5.00-15.00 for games I pay a couple bucks for at most, and in exchange I can get sweet games for my PC or 360.

Also, this kid has over 600 videos on Youtube, all made within the past year. He makes almost two videos a day on average. Between that and time spent playing videogames, I think he's on his way to achieving DemoniusX/Dwayne weight.

gotterdamm - 2008-07-15

He talks like Dr Steve Brule.

chumbucket - 2008-07-17

and heeeere's the tally!:
"don't even give me that bullshit" x9
"and you know what" x8

citrusmirakel - 2008-07-20

"Have you ever heard of any other gaaaamestop... any other game stores..."
"300, 400, 400... I mean 300, 400 500 percent..."
"It's complete monopolution."
"And that's... the truth."
