I loved this ad campaign because it appealed to the anti-authoritarian kid I was. But all in all this was just a lame attempt to compensate for a severe lack of blast processing had by the SNES.

The Super NES doesn't run on electricity. It runs on REBELLION. THE SORT OF REBELLION YOU CAN ONLY ACHIEVE BY PLAYING YOSHI'S ISLAND.

Contrast this with the current "Wii would like to play" campaign. It's like Nintendo's a respectable 30 year old businessman now, and we're looking at embarrassing pictures of him from high school.

Now, I know where the "BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWW" sound came from!
