I'd like to think that the cold reaction of the cameraman means that isn't his kid, or maybe that he's the kid's evil big brother goading him on, because otherwise, what the fuck? What was going to be the happy result here, in the event the kid managed to stay on the bike? Looks to me like the faceplant saved him from an even worse injury.
