I think he was just saying, in a way that related to the topic at hand, how people (fox news and other alarmist douchenozzles) are focusing on a symptom of a problem and not the cause i.e. rapping about gun violence is inherently bad, lets not question why there's gun violence or why minors have guns we just shouldn't talk about it. which is actually pretty much what he did say right after that.
