I don't know about murder charges, but there really ought to be an in-depth investigation.

Cleaner82 - 2008-07-30

No, fuck it. If they can make it stick then go for murder.

buttnutt - 2008-07-30

Bush will never be impeached/tried for war crimes/ etc. Though in my dreams Bugliosi would be the one to prosecute him.

Also, what outburst was that guy talking about?

The Great Hippo - 2008-07-30

The applause.

Also, yeah. There won't ever be an impeachment. Most democrats don't want to shake the boat or go on the offensive. It's just not politically viable right now.

Besides, no President has *ever* been impeached over a war, and there's been far more impeachable wars than this one.

Jeff Fries - 2008-07-30

WORDS FROM BUSH'S OWN MOUTH = clip from the Daily Show

Cleaner82 - 2008-07-30

Yes, this president if anything will go down in history for never saying dumbshit things.

Billie_J_Buttfuck - 2008-07-30

One hell of a commercial - I'm buying the book. Five stars.

Cleaner82 - 2008-07-30

How dare you infer some sort of ulterior motive! The man is old, and has no need of this 'money' you speak of!

Billie_J_Buttfuck - 2008-07-30

I'm firmly for the trial of George W. Bush, and anyone attached to him.

Count how many times he mentions his book/holds his book up/mentions the title of the book.

baleen - 2008-07-30

Of course he has a motive, he's a prosecution attorney. This is what they live for. The guy already has two massive blockbuster bestsellers and he's one of the best paid attorneys in the country, so I doubt he's hard up for cash.

Knuckles - 2008-07-30

He mentions his book twice. He doesn't ever hold it up. He says the title of his book once (which is the first "mention" I counted before, the other time he just quickly says "my book").

simon666 - 2008-07-30

are you related in some manner to billy buttsex?

Cleaner82 - 2008-07-30

Who me? Nah, he can be in it for the money, or the thrill of the hunt, and still justly nail a murderer. I'm having my cake and eating it too.

Billie_J_Buttfuck - 2008-07-30

No, I'm not. In any way.

Not even a little.

Not even a teeny bit.

No.

Billie_J_Buttfuck - 2008-07-30

And again, I'll point out, I was here first.

baleen - 2008-07-30

It's sort of a blight on you. Even though I know you're different I assume you are the same spiritually.

Billie_J_Buttfuck - 2008-07-31

...That might be the most hurtful thing said about me in a long, long time.

baleen - 2008-07-30

In the movies, after the applause, Vincent Bugliosi is then spirited away on a wall of hands and chants, and the congressional committee has no choice but to send Bush and his cabinet to the chair.

gambol - 2008-07-30

Who is 'outburst' guy?

baleen - 2008-07-30

None other than Republican butt smear Lamar Smith. He's like George Bush in that he acts like he's from Texas but actually spends most of his time on cape cod, with intermittent "ranch work" sessions to make his meek constituency feel that he's a real cowboy.

The head of the Judiciary is John Conyers who's been there pretty much forever.

Cleaner82 - 2008-07-30

I knew the 'outburst' thing had a sort of a whining henchman-ish cadence to it.

halon - 2008-07-30

It makes me sad to know that nothing will ever come of this.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2008-07-31

In my dreams something will come of this.
