I'm just this much closer to forgiving him for how shitty The Simpsons has been pretty much since Phil Hartman died now.

Actually, I'm not some asshole nerd who holds a grudge against a TV show; my general stance is to just not watch it anymore if it stops being interesting...just, ya know, it was funnier back then.

CornOnTheCabre - 2008-08-13

his knowledge level is OVER 9000!

Cleaner82 - 2008-08-13

His knowledge goggles tell him the average fox viewer has less knowledge per square inch.

Billy Buttsex - 2008-08-13

Cleaner82, did you just shit your pants when you wrote that? Because that was genius!

Cleaner82 - 2008-08-13

I did! I... have a problem...

Merkwuerdigeliebe - 2008-08-13

You can't hold it against the average Fox News viewer for making an honest mistake.

DopeFiend - 2008-08-13

If fewer of us liberals sounded like this guy, and more like, say, Lyndon Johnson, that would be half the battle right there. Work on your gravelly drawls, guys.

Desidiosus - 2008-08-13

That's so sixties. Work on your terrorist fist bumps instead.

Xenocide - 2008-08-13

I hope they re-air this episode the day before the election. Then Krusty will end up stealing like half of John McCain's voters.

Quad9Damage - 2008-08-13

Even though The Simpsons has been consistently unfunny since the 10th season, that clip was hilarious.

elm axo - 2008-08-13

get out of town, you dont think The Simpsons is funny anymore? Gee am I glad for this fresh unscathing critical voice

HarrietTubmanPI - 2008-08-13

I wanna be sarcastic too!!!!

badideasinaction - 2008-08-13

Suuuuure you do HarrietTubmanPI, sure you do...

Cube - 2008-08-13

It's not really funny when you think about it.

At least on Fox there's tons of crap scrolling, running, hopping and whatever on the edges of the screen, and they have NOTHING to do with what is currently on.

There was an episode of King of the Hill that had an actual tornado warning message scrolling on top of the screen, I don't know which channel it was on.

If there would ever be any confusion, it's FOX's fault for running their own ads and reports during shows. Not that it wouldn't be degrading to the people who worked hard to make the show or just a clear example of plain greed (why use commercial breaks that bring money when you can put your own ads on the show itself), anyway.

I uh... if someone woud have just submitted the Matt Groening interview, that would have been a lot better. Our Narrator is an annoying prick, and when he started to speak of "scouring the internet" for a clip that was broadcast on a national syndicated TV show, I just couldn't watch anymore.

Keefu - 2008-08-13

With the Matt Groening video you don't get the clip included I think though, so that's why I took this one in priority. Plus, in the interview clip he talks about other things before and after he gets to this. I wanted to just highlight this specifically and it was the best possible clip I could find for this purpose.

That is all.

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2008-08-13

I want to cat-burgler everyone affiliated with FOX news' houses, find their Communications degrees, steal, and burn them.

cognitivedissonance - 2008-08-13

Whispy narrators sounds exactly like POE's Emceestopheles.

asian hick - 2008-08-13

-2 for douchely narration.

Millard - 2008-08-14

God, the self-important douche narration kills this for me. "Scoured the internets". Ugh.
