In fact, I heartily endorse blackface, as well as whiteface, yellowface, gayface, and retardface. He demanded a public apology. I told him I'd give him one on the condition that he explain why -- if retards can be astronauts and neurosurgeons -- why they are incapable of holding the office of President of the National Down Syndrome Congress. I never heard back.

There should be a non-Down President, like the guy you talked to, and then a Down Syndrome King of the Kingdom of Down Syndrome, who walks around in a red spotted ermine cloak with a scepter and enormous crown and goes into rages any time people use Down Syndrome in an inappropriate fashion. You can't understand anything that the Down Syndrome King of the Down Syndrome Kingdom says, so the President of the National Down Syndrome Congress has to interpret it.

While happily watching this movie in the the theater, one of the retard kids I work with shoved something up his ass and cause himself severe rectal bleeding.
I had to leave towards the end of the movie. I also had to abandon my husband at the the theater so I could drive to the kids house. He had to walk home in the rain.
I hate my life.
