The haunting butterfly scene.

I worked on this (and the spiritual brother The Dark Eye), as a tester in 1996. Oddly, later I almost married a woman who had previously dated Lutke, She gave me some of his computer parts. I have a old floppy drive that has "This is Jim Lutke's First Floppy Drive" written on it in black marker.

This kind of stuff was the best thing to come out of the cinematic delusion of the "CD-ROM interactive movie revolution." Dark Eye was also good.

There were come great, weird little games to come out of that initial fascination with the CDROM medium. Don't forget Bad Mojo. Iron Helix was another one that springs to mind.

A true 90s artifact. This had an all-star lineup of noteable indie/underground comix artists (plus Dave McKean) whose work was featured in the hidden animated segments. Surprised those haven't made it to YouTube yet.
