Mostly Pi - 2008-08-22 Honestly, if my life has taught me anything, it's that his parents probably did this to him, specifically one very strong parent. My mom, slowly over time, devolved into a raging conservative religious nut, moved my dad and two brothers out of the suburbs into a compound in the middle of nowhere in another state, took them out of school and starting homeschooling creationism, etc. Basically by the end the kids, being trapped, got a little stir crazy and acquired a nasty case of Stockholm Syndrome. Last time I visited my oldest little brother was acting just like this kid.
This kid's parents are probably proud.
