Tsai Ming Lang or Miang Liang Tsai or however you're supposed to say his name is an interesting director. If you have the patience to sit through slow, sweeping interpersonal dramas with very weird moments of comedy in them (for instance the stalker with a clock attached to his cock in What Time is it There?) you might really like him. I think he's one of the better directors coming out of China\Taiwan.
