FRY BOT! I loved fry bot! It bothers me that a number of my brain cells are devoted to remembering 'fry bot', and I will never get them back.

Cena_mark - 2008-08-24

I still have a few in my mom's house. She better never throw them away.

Chalkdust - 2008-08-26

brain cells?

cognitivedissonance - 2008-08-24

I had the ice cream one, the burger one AND Fry-Bot. And fuck you if you mock me for playing with them as much as I did.

Brautwurst_Barbarian - 2008-08-25

I had those exact same ones. Holy Shit.

PlushJake - 2008-10-31

I had those exact three as well. Maybe they made more of those three.

Mordant - 2008-08-24

These stupid things were awesome. Thanks McDonald's.

pub_enum - 2008-08-24

Why the "Indiana Jones" font?

OxygenThief - 2008-08-24

It denotes ADVENTURE.

baleen - 2008-08-24

I remember actually liking these, during the transformers\gobots fad. It was one of their more clever child-dope pushings.

Zhou Fang - 2008-08-24

Red FryBot, how I loved thee. Then they dropped Changeables 2: Dino Boogaloo.

RandomFerret - 2008-08-26

THE DINOSAUR ONES WERE AWESOME FUCK YOU.

Xenocide - 2008-08-24

IN THE HANDS OF YOUR INNOCENT CHILDREN.

That line made it sound like a Fox News story. ARE CHANGING FOOD ROBOTS HYPNOTIZING YOUR KIDS INTO SUPPORTING THE ACLU?

garcet71283 - 2008-08-24

These things waged an epic war against both the Decepticons AND the Autobots (and a number of GoBots) during my childhood.

As I recall, they later rehashed the a number of these (the ice-cream cone comes to mind) as a transforming food-to-dinosaur happy meal prize.

All of this could have only been induced by large quantities of weed.

garcet71283 - 2008-08-24

Five stars even.

fluffy - 2008-08-24

Precursors to the Aqua Teen Hunger Force?

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-08-24

Robocakes sounds like a pet name you'd give a robot during post-coitus snuggling.

Emcee - 2008-08-24

These were so fucking hard to open. Especially Robocakes.

dementomstie - 2008-08-24

Hooray Nostalgia! I had (and possibly still have in storage) Fry-bot and the shake/drink-bot.

RomancingTrain - 2008-08-25

These were from '88? I was eating happy meals when I was 2? No wonder I have such horrible eating habits now.

SpookyElectric - 2008-08-25

one of those brief periods where Happy Meals aren't advertising a major licensed property

HankFinch - 2008-08-26

I was first on my block to have my dogs ears blown back by robo-cakes!

Evilhead - 2008-08-26

I still have all of these and all of the dinosaur ones that came out later. Right now I think my little nephew has them, probably destroying any kind of value they might have to the 20th century cultural history museum that should be paying for my retirement.

SRP - 2008-08-26

IT CAME! in your happymeal!

Hooper_X - 2008-08-29

IT WAS... THE ASSISTANT MANAGER!

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2008-08-30

It makes eating hazardous chemicals that much more fun! *cue adorable laughter*

DMKA - 2008-08-31

I had a couple of these too.

B_Ko - 2009-12-11

OOOOOOOOOWEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOO

RockBolt - 2014-01-24

I just found a bunch of these in an old box, here's hoping they're worth a few bucks
