I was previously unaware that Michael could turn into a car. Or a robot.

This shatters my perception of the world.

StanleyPain - 2008-08-24

You apparently haven't seen the majesty of the Michael Jackson movie "Moonwalker" then.

Squeamish - 2008-08-24

He... made a movie?

What?

StanleyPain - 2008-08-24

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095655/

StanleyPain - 2008-08-24

If nothing else, one NEEDS to watch this movie for the segment in which Joe Pesci is the drug-lord of some post apocalyptic world and is battled by a giant, Michael Jackson-shaped, transforming robot.

Squeamish - 2008-08-24

I don't think my mind could comprehend such a movie. Not without going completely insane.

KnowFuture - 2008-08-24

Two movies, actually.

You had to go to Disneyland/world to see the 3D sci-fi epic "Captain EO" but it sure had Michael Jackson in it.

zatojones - 2008-08-25

Captain EO was pretty cool. That was the first 3D movie I saw using polarized glasses

almo - 2008-08-24

Wait a tic. I've had this game since I was 6 years old and I never figured out that you could turn into MechaJackson?

What the hell have I done with my life?

StanleyPain - 2008-08-24

To be fair, this is the shit Genesis port of what was actually a pretty good arcade game (putting aside Michael Jackson lameness). The actual arcade game was a faster moving, isometric brawler that was, all things considered, pretty fun to play.

Cleaner82 - 2008-08-24

I used to play that wherever I found it, which was not too many places.

yoyo1 - 2008-08-24

The awesome arcade game had nothing to do with this shit.
They coud have a done a good game even with the limited genesis capacities, but they had to rush it in order to be in the first batch of genesis games or something.

cognitivedissonance - 2008-08-24

No words... should have sent... a poet...

cognitivedissonance - 2008-08-24

Also: I'm surprised Daft Punk hasn't sampled this already.

TeflonDoc - 2008-08-24

Now I want a Daft Punk arcade game. In the end, if you're good enough, the robots were human after all.

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-08-24

Wow, we fucked this guy's life up but good.

simon666 - 2008-08-24

fuck 1:55 as soon as the thrill dance started i was sold. and the neck moves, wow.

kennydra - 2008-08-24

What the HELL.

GiantAtomicFreak - 2008-08-24

For some reason, when I was a kid I used to rent this game a lot.

Doctor Arcane - 2008-08-25

I think I rented it once, just to see wtf. I didn't play it for long.

OxygenThief - 2008-08-24

That was the worst robot transformation I've ever seen. It's powers seem to be limited mobility and one extra hit point.

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-08-24

And lasers that can't hit anything.

Camonk - 2008-08-24

Holy crap all video games everywhere used to be so horrible.

ztc - 2008-08-24

Moonwalker is the craziest movie of the 1980's. You all have to go watch it immediately.

Hooper_X - 2008-08-24

I cannot believe so many people here have never heard of this game/movie. Jesus christ, you guys, Moonwalker was fucking amazing. The movie was insane and the video game was equally insane.

Collin Cote - 2008-08-24

I wonder if this game has easter eggs like in the Leisure Suit Larry Series.

Unsung - 2008-08-24

Fuck all yall, this game was SWEET! It all about getting as many bad guys on the screen as possible before breaking out into a dance number.

citrusmirakel - 2008-08-25

I loved this game. The arcade version as well as the Genesis version, although the Genesis version was better because you could make the dogs dance with you.

DrVital - 2008-08-25

The movie is amazing.

In the end he transforms into a Spaceship and the children get inside of him.

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2008-08-25

I played this game when it was in Chuck E. Cheezes or whatever.

Kind of like how I played Revolution X.
