Jesus Christ. This man is out of his mind.

glasseye - 2008-08-25

The important thing is that he was wearing an onion on his belt, which was the fashion at the time.

Crucifried - 2008-08-25

"There are too many states nowadays. When I'm President, I will eliminate three. I am not a crackpot."

takewithfood - 2008-08-26

It's more fun to jump to 0:18 and listen to his answer, then try to guess what the question was.

Cleaner82 - 2008-08-25

He's pretty lucky God decided to bless him with not one but multiple homes.

chumbucket - 2008-08-25

he works in mysterious ways

Stog - 2008-08-25

I do not want this asshole as my President.

sheikurbouti - 2008-08-25

John McCain is reluctant to discuss his experience as a P.O.W. in Vietnam.

Camonk - 2008-08-25

Wait, McCain was a POW? Holy crap. That must mean he's the hero this country has been waiting for!

sheikurbouti - 2008-08-25

Gary Glitter was also in a Vietnamese prison for years.

Xenocide - 2008-08-25

THE GOOKS TOOK HIS TABLE AND CHAIR. This clearly means he can fix the economy.

baleen - 2008-08-25

The scariest thing I've ever heard him say, and the thing that made me stop respecting him when before I thought he was a pretty interesting guy, was that we would have won Vietnam had we just stayed the course. The implication is that the damn liberals and the whiners who didn't want to fight ruined it for everybody.

This goes against everything that Robert McNamara said, that the war was not winnable for too many reasons to mention here.

zatojones - 2008-08-25

Wow. That was some pretty awesome question non-answering.

Camonk - 2008-08-25

Guys, it's only four different homes. Two of them are freaking condos. They're not even houses. This guy is basically like a pauper. A very blessed and lucky pauper.

Xenocide - 2008-08-25

QUIZ TIME!

"I was a POW" is to John McCain as ___ is to Guliani.

A. 9/11

B. Failure

C. Cheating on your wife

Chizmurder - 2008-08-25

He is so BLESSED!

TeenerTot - 2008-08-25

He sure is lucky that god blessed him with a rich "cunt".

Jeff Fries - 2008-08-25

A condominium counts as a fraction of a home, he probably just wasn't sure about the square footage and didn't want to miscalculate.

rulestein - 2008-08-25

So? Who keeps track of how many investment homes they have? Do you think donald trump knows how many homes he owns? There are some people who own a company that buys and sells homes frequently. There is no way they need to keep track of the exact number.

Camonk - 2008-08-25

Yes, and people who have so many investments that they can't keep track of all of them have virtually no understanding of how regular people live their lives, despite the fact that McCain claims to be a man of the people who understand the economic woe of regular people. Do you want Donalt Trump running the country? (Please either say no or kill yourself.)

HankFinch - 2008-08-26

Smart people know how many investment homes they own.

Just kidding! Seriously though, only poor people count their money.

margoth - 2008-08-25

Oh poor man! He knows what its like to live without a kitchen table or a chair. That must have been a hard couple weeks.

Billy Buttsex - 2008-08-25

OH NO! Not a successful man running for president!

baleen - 2008-08-25

He married into it. We're just all really tired of boring rich white guys telling us what to do is all.

Hay Belly - 2008-08-25

Baleen, I thought rich white guys were the minority in this country? Aren't they getting the short end of the stick, with blacks/women/jews running everything? Shouldn't someone step up for these poor guys? NO ONE seems to want to help these poor rich white guys.

Billy Buttsex - 2008-08-25

Baleen wants rich black men to run things. This will make him feel like he's not a racist.

baleen - 2008-08-25

I am a racist, I'm just not as racist as you.

Gianni - 2008-08-25

because clearly the man you want running the U.S. economy is a man who invested in Real Estate. yes very smart indeed.

Cleaner82 - 2008-08-25

Successful at TAPPIN' THAT ASS.

RomancingTrain - 2008-08-25

"that was some wonderful pablum Senator McCain, now can you answer my question?" Is what Couric should have said, but because she is the hackiest hack reporter she probably just said thank you.

Crucifried - 2008-08-25

Did you know that John McCain never has to look to make sure there is a chair behind him before sitting down?

tamago - 2008-08-25

"He [Cindy's father] is a role model to so many young Americans who serve in the military and come back and succeed."

Let's not mention those who serve in the military and come back in body bags, missing limbs, insane or wind up homeless, okay?

Blaise - 2008-08-25

The guy brings up POW so often he should have played the Penguin in the Batman TV series from the 60s.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2008-08-26

In conclusion, how about those Mets?

B_Ko - 2008-09-25

I haven't been able to trust this man since he knocked over those pickles and refused to clean it up.
