Len Cella is a god among men. I remember stumbling across his video (yes, VHS) at the local rental one bored summer and I thought it was the greatest thing I'd seen since Snigglets. I made all my friends watch it, but nobody else got it :(

Len's got his own website. Apparently he's still making these. He should be King of Youtube by now.

Oh man this shit ruled the world if you were 8 in 1983. He was a local Philly guy who made it to the big time (Dick Clark's Bloopers and Practical Jokes), so he was an even bigger deal around here. Do you remember the doorstop made of Jello? Oh man Len Cella rules.

My friends and I used to to go to the local Blockbuster and frequent the free-rental "community service" section that had wacky things things like "Cartoon All starts to Rescue," Pregnancy exercise videos, this Scientology video that had L Ron talking semi-incoherently in a yacht for 45 minutes and for some reason I think Moron Movies was in there as well.
