In Northern England, "trousering" is a popular (albeit not technically legal) sport. You take your underwear off, fasten securely the cuffs of your trews, and then pop a ferret down there. This is colloquially known as "keepin' 'em down", and the record holder was known for wearing white trousers, so as to show the blood.

So, yeah, five stars for ferrets.
