If the polls continue the trend, I can't wait until Obama trounces this old man and his loud-mouthed supporters.

cognitivedissonance - 2008-10-07

Video stops before the dude suggests that we must kill him. One of the more frightening moments in American democracy.

IrishWhiskey - 2008-10-07

This was followed by supporters shouting "Kill him!" and "Traitor!" at Palin rallies when she linked Obama to terrorism. And this is even after the press were sequestered away, not just from Palin, but her supporters.

Stars of Evil for McCain's disappointed look, followed by his plowing ahead anyway. The guy chose to stay in a POW camp, but couldn't get through a Presidential election without selling out his principles and honor.

Food - 2008-10-07

He chose to stay longer as a POW because it was required of him by the military code of conduct. You're not allowed to accept special treatment and you have to insist that the prisoners be released in the order of their capture. So everyone else there did the same thing. He's no better than anyone else who was a POW. Possibly worse, if you believe the Rolling Stone article about him.

Hooker - 2008-10-07

"He is no better than any other POW that was forced to stay in a prison camp" is one of the weaker attacks on someone's character I've heard.

delicatessen - 2008-10-07

It was at Palin rally where someone called for Obama's murder. Because, you know, her voice makes people want to kill.

Tstyle - 2008-10-07

"angry barrage of insults' seemed inspired by the moment.

Space Helicopter - 2008-10-07

"You ask such questions and all you get in response is another angry barrage of insults."

No kidding.

Cleaner82 - 2008-10-07

That barely registers as disappointment. That's like that asshole dad who watches his kid knock another kid over. And he's inwardly cheering, but he wants to pretend he's responsible.

"Ha ha, lets not do that now Stevie."

fatatty - 2008-10-07

McCain Campaign memo 3/11/2008:

"Throughout his life John McCain has held himself to the highest standards and he will continue to run a respectful campaign based on the issues. We expect that all supporters, surrogates and staff will hold themselves to similarly high standards when they are representing the campaign."

He made it all the way to 72 before he abandoned his highest standards. He was so close.

Desidiosus - 2008-10-07

It didn't take 72 years, it only took six months of crappy poll numbers and Hail Marys not panning out.

Frank Rizzo - 2008-10-07

hey Space Helicopter, where exactly was he called a terrorist?

This isnt fark, try to keep the bullshit out.

Frank Rizzo - 2008-10-07

oh, some audience member yells it as everyone else is screaming. weeeee............

1 star still stands

Blaise - 2008-10-07

Its all fun and games until someone gets their eye shot out.

Cena_mark - 2008-10-07

Maybe not a terrorist but a friend of terrorists. Good buddy of Bill Ayers. He campaigned for Raila Odinga, who had spread violence in Kenya after losing the election. Because of that asshole I almost didn't get to go to Kenya.
He plans to weaken U.S. defense which will surely make him the terrorist's best friends, and choice for president.

Frank Rizzo - 2008-10-07

You're throwing troll bait out rather aggressively

Desidiosus - 2008-10-07

I'm good buddies with a card-carrying Conservative. That doesn't make me think the economy is strong.

IrishWhiskey - 2008-10-07

Ayers worked as an education and poverty adviser in Chicago, at a time that Obama was working on those issues. They worked on a committee together, and Ayers contributed to his campaign. Obama's never said a word to excuse those activities that happened when he was eight years old, nor has he ever endorsed the man.

By those same standards McCain is a friend of Nazi's, pedophiles and terrorists. Oh, and McCain's Medicare plans would make him Kevorkian's best friend.

Cena_mark - 2008-10-07

Ayers is unrepentant. On 911 he said he wished he did more. That means he has the same terrorist mentality.
If Hitler was still alive I wouldn't chill and have a beer with him.

Cena_mark - 2008-10-08

And he is the terrorist's choice. Muammar Khadafi even made an address where he said he wants for Obama to win.

IrishWhiskey - 2008-10-08

I think the point you are (intentionally) missing, is that being in the same city poverty initiative group with a guy isn't having a beer with him. Unless those planning committees are way more fun than I thought. And for every crazy or criminal that Obama's run into, McCain has several more advising him.

citrusmirakel - 2008-10-08

Shhhhhhhhhh!

Just quiet for a minute...

I'm imagining Cena_mark vacationing in Kenya...

phalsebob - 2008-10-07

"You ask such questions, all you get is another angry barrage of insults. And then an invitation to visit his website where he has detailed plans for all kinds of issues."

Yea, Obama is funny that way.

Desidiosus - 2008-10-07

McCain knows what a website is?

DMKA - 2008-10-07

If only O'Reilly could see this.
