I can't decide whether this is adorable or horrible. Horradorable.

Barn owls creep me out because their faces look like some sort of strange ceremonial mask.

Not a dupe. The previous four baby barn owls were in a different box and didn't snap their beaks. I know because I watch baby owl videos obsessively.

Note the pokey-outy tongue on the owl on the right. The barn owl I work with at the raptor center does that when he's feeling naughty and wants to bite. It's so cute.

Needs a Roxy Music soundtrack.

Owls are creepy.

In college there were a bunch of owls on campus. They'd always swoop down on me at night. Scared the bejesus out of me.

They're going to eat me.

Look how intently they stare. I must be fascinating.

I've never seen a video of barn owls. I've only seen them in pictures, I didn't think they were that creepy.
