Wow ... that's an awesome find !

Huh, used to be a sweet shop around these parts that looked like it was from 1910. The shop was sold when the owner died [aged over 100 years old !].

We had a corner store like this where I grew up outside of Philly... "Nat" was the shopkeeper, and he always wore a shirt and tie, and an apron, and was old as hell. He had the same kind of basics as this store had, with products so high up on the shelves he had one of those extension-grabby-claw things to get down the items. He died in the 80's and then his son took over. Now all they sell are cigarettes and lottery tickets. So sad.

The shop is a relic of a long-forgotten past, when people still had money.

"Nobody knows for sure when the store had its last customer"

What? I see several magazines for sale there, including one tit mag. Just look at the dates on them?

Well that may narrow it down to month and year, but what about day, hour, and minute?! Smart ass!
