My favorite movie of all time, bar none.

If you haven't seen Brazil in a real theater, you haven't seen it at all.

man the details! the shoe hat, the ridiculous duct work, the insane waiter, the picture of the "food"...all of it, Gilliam's underrated genius

This scene means I pretty much lost it when Jim Broadbent got his Oscar.

Automatic five stars.

The greatest film of latter half of the 20th century. This is the one that future archivists will point at as legitimate creation of a work of art.

Surreal and zany are two different things.

Jonathan Pryce, Jim Broadbent, Robert De Niro, Bob Hoskins, Micheal Palin, Mona from Who's the Boss, a Messerschmitt bubble car; this movie has it all.

Why haven't I see this before? Why?

Uhm. I doubt there are MILLIONS of scenes in Brazil. I mean I haven't seen it but still. It'd be like at least a year long with MILLIONS of scenes! -1 for hyperbole.

No I'm kidding.

I loved this movie.

I'm afraid the sum of its parts is greater than the film itself though.
