My favorite movie of all time, bar none.

coprolalia - 2008-10-13

If you haven't seen Brazil in a real theater, you haven't seen it at all.

Lauritz Melchior - 2008-10-13

chumbucket - 2008-10-13

man the details! the shoe hat, the ridiculous duct work, the insane waiter, the picture of the "food"...all of it, Gilliam's underrated genius

GoneGirl - 2008-10-13

This scene means I pretty much lost it when Jim Broadbent got his Oscar.

Automatic five stars.

cognitivedissonance - 2008-10-13

The greatest film of latter half of the 20th century. This is the one that future archivists will point at as legitimate creation of a work of art.

FABIO2 - 2008-10-13

Surreal and zany are two different things.

Unmerciful Crushing Force - 2008-10-13

Well, I'm sure this fine gentleman wouldn't want to spoil the final 30 minutes of the movie.

Greatest movie ever.

C. Eloi Marx - 2008-10-13

Jonathan Pryce, Jim Broadbent, Robert De Niro, Bob Hoskins, Micheal Palin, Mona from Who's the Boss, a Messerschmitt bubble car; this movie has it all.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2008-10-13

Why haven't I see this before? Why?

Helena Handbasket - 2008-10-13

Auto five for Brazil ALWAYS.

Camonk - 2008-10-13

Uhm. I doubt there are MILLIONS of scenes in Brazil. I mean I haven't seen it but still. It'd be like at least a year long with MILLIONS of scenes! -1 for hyperbole.

No I'm kidding.

Blaise - 2008-10-13

I loved this movie.

I'm afraid the sum of its parts is greater than the film itself though.

Dinkin Flicka - 2008-10-14

It's a legitimate concern, but rest well - it is not so.

Brazil is perfect in that not a moment is wasted. Each individual scene or the movie as a whole - there's oodles of interesting in all of it.
