Comeuppance - 2008-10-24
In the defense of 4Kids, the original content and dialogue of Pokémon wasn't exactly inspiringly witty.
Same with Naruto and One Piece. Yeah, 4Kids changed them into completely unwatchable pulp, but they weren't all that great to begin with. Here, let me summarize all the shows they've taken over:
A young man from a place nobody cares about slowly develops into the world's best something while overcoming personal problems and surprising everyone with his natural abilities. But, he can't do it alone all of the time, and his small-but-ever-growing group of friends will help him out of tough spots and show that they are all going to be friends forever - except the one that dies at the hands of their greatest nemesis.

Misty pretty much put the sideways ponytail on the map. She's also one of the only girls in human history who ever made suspenders look good. Even if she didn't have the best fashion sense in the series, she was still a pioneer.
