Is it possible to make literally everything with this game?

LittleBigPlanet: AutoC.A.D for ubernerds and autistics.

You have got to be fucking bullshitting me. You know what this means of course; someone has already LittleBigPlanet'd Tetris. The video is out there, somewhere.

Watching LBP clips like this is like watching giant steam powered machinery trying to replicate some simple modern technology.

I don't think I'd ever buy it though. It's like Ulileleilili: The Game. The actual game can't hold a candle to watching the parade of autism that springs from it on YouTube.

ul - ill - ill - ia.

ulillillia.

He's Portal of Evil's #1 Touched-In-The-Head mascot, at least get the name right. PRO-TIP: an easy mnemonic device is to remember that ulillillia is not only the most ill, but he's DOUBLE ill. He's the illest, more ill than the Beastie Boys by far. If Ulillillia could rap, he'd be bigger than the Beatles.

it's nice, but not gary's mod working V8 engine level of autism

The steam-powered puppetry feeling is what makes the game so excellent fun to play. Most of the best levels are just LBP remakes (stitchpunk?) of other games and scenes from movies and cartoons and the like.

What I'm wondering is how the hell this person built this ship and made it controllable. There's no way of actually mapping controls to things, and the only second-order controllers are things like switches and levers which don't seem like they'd be easy to manipulate.

FABIO2 - 2008-11-04

It's fun to watch and think "wow, someone actually went and made this", but it pretty much ends there.

Nope, I'll let other people buy the game and spend 100 hours for my 2 minutes of free amusement.

Little Big Planet: The Next ZZT?

yourmother - 2008-11-03

No powerups? This is hardly gradius at all.

thatonegirl - 2008-11-03

Fuckin' a. I've lasted this long without EITHER a Playstation or an XBox360, now I want to play BOTH Left4dead and this game. Jerks.

Ursa_minor - 2008-11-03

They always get you in the end

Camonk - 2008-11-03

Hey uh you know you can play Gradius without buying this game. In fact, you can play MUCH BETTER GAMES than gradius.

Cleaner82 - 2008-11-04

This is a pretty sublimely beautiful concept, I must say.
