That aside, I'm more pleased that Nader brought up the economic foundation of both campaigns as a reason for continuing concern. As for "political correctness", in this case it isn't so much an obstacle to free thought as it is to phrasing your thought in a douchebaggy way. This guy wanted to be president and he says something like that? If McCain had ever uttered that phrase it would be game over that moment, but he never did because for all his faults he meets a certain minimum level of tact.

I don't know if Ralph Nader actually wanted to be president. The whole point of third party candidates in the United States system is to steal votes from one (or both) of the two parties in an effort to draw attention to the issues you're trying to bring up. In Ralph Nader's case, it's mostly corporate integration into politics, out of control military spending, and a green economy.
