I have problems with the legal/moral/journalistic standards employed by Dateline using real sex crimes for ratings.

On the other hand, John Stossel lecturing anyone for exploiting serious issues for shitty fake-news drama is like Prince lecturing people for 'people sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever'.

I wonder how 20/20 feels knowing that they were scooped by an episode of Squidbillies. Because I would feel pretty silly.

You can almost see the jealous spite oozing out of Stossel's pores like sap.

Guys when TEXAS LAW ENFORCEMENT is ashamed of your actions, you really got to sit back and rethink things. I'm serious. That is pretty much the main sign that you are doing messed up shit.

So basically these people were brought to this town and let go because they couldn't be prosecuted. What a useless tumor of a show, it deserves all this and more.

I once registered an account on the Perverted Justice forums just to see what was what.

It was the most legally unsound vigilante operation I'll probably ever see in my entire life, where any random person could just wander in and 'volunteer' to cyberstalk and harass alleged perverts. They'd gather together in the sub-forums and work on things like flooding towns with flyers that had pictures of pedophiles above home and work addresses, phone numbers, etc. ("all obtained from public places, so it's totally legal.") People who proved themselves worthy in the 'back office' (PJ term for the forums) would then be approved to do the chat stings.

And THOSE were the people running these massive law enforcement stings for this show. Jee-zus.
