Eurythmics was my high school flirtation with gay aesthetics. It stopped there, and with this album, which was too major key to satisfy my teen angst. I never went on to Communards or Erasure.
Its only in the last 3 years that my tastes have evolved to embrace electro pop as a unjustly neglected potential space of music.
I still don't care for this album. However, fans of post-punk and dream pop should check out the first (UK only) Eurythmics album, "In the Garden", which is nothing like their electro albums.
