An actor friend of mine was working as background in a club scene for a Segal movie. She arrives early and Segal is working out with the people who are going to take a beating from him. He's going all out too, actually hitting these people fucking hard. My friend is talking to one of the other stunt guys who is going to get rocked by Segal, when the man himself walks past them. The stunt guy says, "Man that is awesome!" Segal turns and replies, "That, is just one one-hundredth of my power."

Bonus: Segal also called this same friends agent company, MaJa, and requested all the nude photos of their asian female actors.

I think it is because he doesn't seem to move his upper arms very much, so to stay balanced, below the elbows his arms have to be a whirlwind of activity.
