The way you play a theremin is just as beautiful to watch as the way you play a cello or anything else. But that sound is so unimpressive.

Cellists force themselves to be good because otherwise you've got massively calloused hands for no reason. Theremin players have nothing to lose but their self respect, which they seem to lose in abundance.
I wouldn't mind learning to play one. But that's not the issue at hand: now you need to submit one of a guy playing with his penis.
