It's a good start for a pilot but it has room for improvement.
The show needs to be paced a bit faster, and it needs more visual elements, or just a little art direction. Some of the bits could be better.
That said, the writing and the hosts are pretty good and this has potential to be an entertaining show.

I sort of liked the concept of Yahtzee talking about video game history though, id probably watch 30 minutes of that rather than that Fat Peter MacNicol-looking motherfucker ANIME IS COOL ITS SO RANDOM!!!

Yahtzee is good and could be a sort of Jeremy Clarkson of video games and talks circles around the other two tearing little strips off of them as he goes.
Matt is nervous as hell and keeps moving around and bouncing up and down and is generally annoying.
I have no opinion on Yug, he is just there.

This was terrible, and Yahtzee's wears a fedora IRL. Back when hats were worn un-ironically, men took them off indoors. I love his game reviews in spite of all this.
