I don't have a microwave.

mouser - 2009-01-10

Such work for a meal. I love oden though.

Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2009-01-10

Looks good

El Zapatista - 2009-01-10

Why the "engrish" tag? I thought he sounded pretty normal...

Burnov - 2009-01-10

Cut konyakku into trianguu and boyo burifuri.

Oh lawd is that sum AANGRISH!?

SolRo - 2009-01-10

5 stars if only for being smart enough to list the ingredients at the end and even converting some metric to standard

Volbard - 2009-01-10

I would like to see someone try to make this by playing the video only once and pausing it as they go along.

Nikon - 2009-03-16

I'm headed towards Japan this year, so I will be giving this a spin.

atheistgirl - 2009-01-10

Welsh onion.

Hehe!

Aernaroth2 - 2009-01-10

I was scared when they said "cooking with dog" at first.

godot - 2009-01-10

5 for introducing me to the series. Japanese home cooking iw quite different from the American restaurant version. Really not all that much work, unless your used to eating out of a can.

The other 28 videos make it clear that Francis the dog is actually the narrator.

HankFinch - 2009-01-10

21 ingredients for 1 meal, fuck that, give me the can

Burnov - 2009-01-11

Hank gets some miscellaneous stars for that post.

Sorry. I wasted my actual five.

****

Where can I buy Oden and how much does it cost?

Reefer Fez - 2009-01-10

Me, I just go down to 7-11. Each item only costs about 80-110 each. Or, if you're in Akihabara, just buy a can from a vending machine.

kennydra - 2009-01-10

I'm not entirely sure why, but I love this. If there was a cooking channel that consisted only of this and Pan Kun cooking, I would be glued to the set.

UnderANeonHalo - 2009-01-10

Oden is the final boss on Cooking Mama.

cognitivedissonance - 2009-01-11

And not, as I had hoped, actually cooking one's mother.

zatojones - 2009-01-10

Looks good but why didn't he show the complicated version?

stompr - 2009-01-10

Good presentation. Would have been more surreal if the dog's head was superimposed that woman's body.

1394 - 2009-01-11

Hey that looks pretty tasty.

DrVital - 2009-01-11

That dog is a firm but loving task master.

He brooks no disobedience.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2009-01-11

I have made similar dishes, like nabemono, but this was expertly done! I will have to try the spinach inside cabbage trick sometime. Also, I don't know of anyplace that sells deep fried tofu. I've tried making it unsuccessfully, also to make inari with, but to no avail. It never comes out that nice golden brown color.

I am so hungry now.

Meerkat - 2009-05-24

Spinach Cabbage Rolls? I AM SO TRYING THIS WITH BEET TOPS

fluffy - 2009-05-25

Looks delicious

The stew looks pretty good too

Lies, lies, LIES! - 2009-10-07

I would eat that. The soup, too.
