Ah, very artistic. The man, you see, represents one's parents. They feed you when you are young, and take care of you. But then when they get old, they expect you to take care of them in return, because you owe them that for taking care of you. But then they die, which is symbolized by the man floating up into the air and becoming a fruit. Then he becomes a memory and stays with you while you take care of yourselves, only occasionally you will remember his death and that reminds you of how you had to take care of the old bastard when he got helpless and senile and then you beat your wife out of frustration and then the police come and investigate your domestic disturbance and eventually your wife goes to a halfway house and then you stalk her until you finally find her alone and put a bullet in her head.
