No, they aren't. Guinea pigs have more of a vwheeee? vwheeee? sound, and a low grunting chatter. You want to see some crazy nutters, go to a guinea pig show. Just like cat breeders but fat and greasy.
Those are birds making those noises. People eat these things in south america. i would probably try them if i ever vacationed there.
