No the Mage was VERY broken in that game, but all the characters are fun to play.

The only thing I can't explain is how he kills Dark Warrior 2 that fast.

Otherwise it's just Large Burning Oil Spamming, which all classes can do to most bosses and timely uses of the Green Mage's cloudkill and other spells.

At the end he uses the the Staff of the Magi uber attack which requires a high amount of XP(points), 4 players in the game and some button combination. It basically kills anything and everything and leaves all the players with little HPs.

Since the Magic Users are the only ones who can use the Staff, along with their screen clearing spells. They're indeed broken as hell and boring to play along side of if you aren't coordinating with whoever's playing them.

Neither can I on the dark warrior 2, but the Mage was also the only class in the game that could get critical hits via his poisoned dagger, so maybe….

At over 18:00 long, I couldn't have hoped to find the dragon section. I'm reserving my stars until the moment of truth is revealed.
