Once they get to a certain age the deformity is no longer cute, and you throw it in the garbage.

I will never understand people who think deforming an animal is cute. I'd like them to live like that.

Cancer is also a naturally occuring mutation. Why don't you look up HyPP and HERDA in Quarter Horses if you think breeding animals to create infirmity or death is so great if it's "natural?"

It is a deformity. My sister had a cat, the runt of the litter, very similar to this breed with a similar deformity. In the end, it lasted 8 years, but it's heart was too small to keep the body going any longer... uh...
