Jason Alexander wasn't going to keep doing the principal voice work, though. He said it was murder on his throat.

I think he quit right before there was supposed to be a "Duckman" video game, but he balked at all of the lines he'd have to do for every game event.

There was a Duckman game, and it was pretty damn good.

Considering the show ended on a cliffhanger, I really don't think Alexander is the reason it died. Reportadly they had been promised another season by USA but they changed their minds at the 11th hour and killed the show.

They never had a firm plan for a follow-up. Ending on a cliffhanger was the whole point. And they got 70 really good episodes down in their 4 seasons. It would have been a shame if they had pushed it too far and diluted it.
