The most compelling endorsement since Colin Powell.

Also: at times one remains faithful to a cause only because its opponents do not cease to be insipid.

Walt Henderson - 2009-01-29

Of course, the best way to damage a cause is to defend it with faulty arguments... Actually, I'd almost prefer to believe that WBC is intentionally trying to undermine the Evangelical movement than that they actually believe the shit they spout.

they read cthulhus bible

halon - 2009-01-29

Can you imagine how empty the hate center of America will be when that family inbreeds itself into sterility?

ProfessorChaos - 2009-01-29

I was hoping these guys were out of operation. They were getting sued, and their church caught on fire. Meanwhile, I appreciate the cameraman being patient, and actually asking questions to get these people to explain themselves (And thus sound silly), and stop her from basically being inauguration trolls.

also...

"I'm a Lesbian, baby! Yeah!"

Toenails - 2009-01-29

You know, I live just a few blocks away from these folks, and I was wondering the same thing myself. Usually we could count on seeing them every Sunday outside some random church (that aren't in the bad parts of town), but recently I've noticed a distinct lack of neon rainbow signs.

Oh and I may be wrong in this, because there is *so* much vandalism committed to that "church", but I think you are thinking another church that got burned down tot the ground a year ago. This church is literally a stone-throw away from the Phelps compound, and the church was known in Topeka for being the church that put up white crosses (names and all) for every U.S. solider that died in the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars (until they ran out of space on their lot and had to consolidate the crosses to larger ones bearing a hundred or more names.

KnowFuture - 2009-01-29

They've finally graduated up to "God Hates The World"....sniff..."Sunrise, Sunset"....

Quad9Damage - 2009-01-29

I can't wait for God Hates the Universe.

IrishWhiskey - 2009-01-29

God hates God. He's such a fattie, and Richard Dawkins keeps making fun of him.

Syd Midnight - 2009-01-29

I love when naturalized citizens come across things like this and get really patriotic because they're embarrassed for America and not yet used to the slimy side of "free speech".

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2009-01-29

I don't think I've ever seen a funnier sign than "Jobs Don't Fix America".

dr_rock - 2009-01-29

They're referring to Steve Jobs... don't fall for his reality distortion field!

KnowFuture - 2009-01-29

Actually, what's missing is a comma and they're trying to tell Steve Jobs not to fix America.

Nikon - 2009-01-29

Thanks to the cameraman for getting them to speak and reveal the word salad of dumb.

afp3683 - 2009-01-29

"Doesn't it say in the bible that man shall not be the judge of man? So what right have you got to judge Obama?"

"NO NO NO NO LA LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU"

pastorofmuppets - 2009-01-29

"dinosaur looking thing"

Man Who Fights Like Woman - 2009-01-29

"Did you talk to God?"

"SHUT UP!"

Lauritz Melchior - 2009-02-05

This was so much more uplifting than I ever expected a WBC video to be.
